Group course starts in January

Lucia is a fantastic tutor, she is friendly and encouraging. One of the things I really appreciate is how clearly she explains grammar or vocabulary that I’m confused about – she takes the time to break things down in a way that makes them easy to understand and remember. We're following a textbook, but she gave me the option of whether or not to use one, which I really liked because it made the learning feel more flexible.

Lucia is an excellent tutor! She has lesson plans ready for every type of lesson and uses study material to explain various grammar topics. Meanwhile, she is very capable in guiding you through an entire lesson of speaking which is great when the focus needs to be on having conversations in Italiano! Do I need to know any Italian already?
No. Lessons are adapted to your level, from complete beginner to advanced. You build a strong foundation and your confidence from the first lesson.
Are the lessons online or in person?
Both. Learn online from anywhere in the world, or meet Lucia in person in Prague 1, 2 and 3.
Where do the in-person lessons in Prague take place?
In Prague 1, 2 and 3, in cafés or other meeting places we agree on. Lucia confirms the exact place when you book. If you prefer, every lesson also works online.
Do you teach Italian to expats in Prague?
Yes. Lessons are made for English speakers, including people who live in Prague or are moving here. If you travel or work from home, you can switch to online lessons at any time.
How do I book the free trial?
Send Lucia a short email with your level and goals. She replies within 24 hours to agree a time. The trial lasts 30 minutes: you meet, she checks your level and you talk about your plan. There is no obligation to continue.
How do the group courses work?
Courses start in January: 12 weekly live lessons in a group of 3 to 5 students, at beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Reserve a place by email and Lucia confirms the day and time.
Which coursebook do I need?

Yes. Private lessons can be shaped around work, travel or exam goals.
How do I book my lessons and see them afterwards?
After your free trial, you book each lesson with Lucia and receive a confirmation for every booking: keep it as your record. Lucia keeps all bookings in her calendar. Group lesson times are confirmed by Lucia when you reserve a place.
Can I cancel a lesson?
Yes, up to 24 hours before the lesson starts: write to Lucia by email. After that the lesson cannot be cancelled and counts as taken. The same rule applies to private and group lessons.
How do I pay?
Revolut is preferred, and bank transfer works too. You can choose a 5, 10 or 20-lesson package, or a group course.
